This is also known as being a Licensed Caregiver. Thanks to Amendment 20, the state laws pertaining to the cultivation of medical marijuana say it is legal to grow up to 6 plants per person, but there can only be 3 in the flowering stage and 3 in the vegetative stage. If someone does not enjoy smoking it, and would rather make Medical Marijuana Edibles, then that person may be granted special permission when they receive their MMJ License to grow a few extra plants.
Growing Marijuana – Becoming a Licensed Medical Marijuana Caregiver
Basically, all marijuana can be classified as “medical”, but it takes a little period of just knowing which type of weed best suits your body and personality type. For some, every weed is good weed. For others, it’s gotta be the right type of indica or sativa because they are reaching for a specific level of satisfaction for their medicinal purposes. Of course, the better quality that needs to be attained, the harder it may be to grow. This is a process that will have to be experimented with as time goes by, so I suggest while you are trying to figure out how to get to the end product, then try visiting a few different Dispensaries to figure out the types of strains you enjoy smoking. That way you will be familiar with what you are striving for, a solid product. The cultivation process is a high maintenance procedure that takes lots of daily care. It should be taken on as a new hobby, not just some random garden that deserves little attention.
Resources for Growing Marijuana in Colorado
There are a number of grow stores and catalogs where a person can purchase the proper equipment to start growing their own. Some people prefer to grow it as a potted plant, and other people prefer the hydroponic process. Either way, it will not be a cheap process, but some ways are less expensive than others. It will take at least 6 weeks to get to the finished product, so it would be smart to start with the 3 plants, and halfway through start the other 3. This will create a nice rotation that will allow you to produce your weed in cycles. Once the cycle is started, you will potentially have a new crop every 3 weeks or so.
